Job Summary:

At TxMOUD, we are an interdisciplinary team committed to reducing the burden of substance use in Texas by expanding access to compassionate, evidence-based treatment and recovery support services. Our programs organize around three pillars: clinical service delivery to expand access to treatment for individuals with substance use disorder; workforce training and technical assistance to improve the quality of care and expand our skilled treatment workforce and clinical research to develop cutting edge treatments and disseminate them into communities.

Under limited supervision, provides quality assurance support according to group quality assurance guidelines and federal regulations.

 

Job Duties:

  1. Analyzes data, complete reports, and safety events, including employee exposures and patient harm classifications. Provides complete error investigation and workflow improvements.
  2. Writes, maintains, and updates laboratory standard operating policies and procedures.
  3. Oversees competency assessments and evaluation of testing personnel.
  4. Reviews weekly and monthly Quality Control to include Peer Evaluation, Purchasing of QC, Establishing reference ranges, and instrument comparisons.
  5. Oversight of testing programs.
  6. Submits required notifiable condition reports to comply with the local, state, and federal regulations.
  7. Oversight of Quality Assurance Program to include reviewing lab processes, monthly metrics, and compiling data for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual process reviews.
  8. Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.

 

Experience:

  • Five (5) years of experience in quality assurance, regulatory, auditing, or healthcare areas is required.
  • Extensive experience working with data to identify common trends, metrics, and analysis.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks to ensure the completion of long-term and short-term deadlines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe. 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
