The Department of Radiology in the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio
is seeking candidates for 1 Clinical Fellow/Specialist position in the Cardiothoracic Fellowship for the 2021-2022 academic year. This position will commence on July 1, 2021 and end on June 30, 2022.
In order to be considered for an
appointment as a Clinical Fellow/Specialist, candidates must be able to secure a Texas full medical license no later than
January 31, 2021.
With nearly 400,000 total exams a year, our dynamic program provides in-depth training and valuable experience in
Chest Imaging. Educational rotations are available at the University Health System (536 beds), University Clinical
Imaging Center, Mays Cancer Center, Medical Arts and Research Center, and the UT Hill Country Center. Additionally
our teaching hospitals and clinics are regional referral centers for South Texas and include Level 1 Trauma, Oncology,
Surgery, General Medicine, and Organ Transplantations. We have state-of-the-art imaging equipment that includes 7
Multi-detector CT units, 9 MR units, 15 color Doppler Ultrasound units, 3 Lunar Prodigy DXA scanner and 2 Fluoroscopy
rooms.
