Job Summary:


Under direct supervision, responsible for the operation and maintenance of utility equipment in facility buildings to ensure they are in optimal working condition.

Job Duties:


  1. Operates, maintains and repairs utility system equipment in the facilities.

  2. Maintains equipment history files and communicates building system status to appropriate personnel.

  3. Maintains heating and air conditioning equipment to include cleaning coils, replacing filters, trouble shooting control circuits and repairing pumps.

  4. Performs water testing, analysis, and documentation on utility systems.

  5. Responds to service calls, equipment alarms, fire alarm system alarms, elevator malfunctions, and any other calls for assistance.

  6. Performs minor plumbing and electrical maintenance on air conditioning equipment, building utility systems, and equipment related to the facilities.

  7. Performs all other duties as assigned.



High school diploma or GED is required.



Three (3) years experience in operation and repair of utility equipment is required.
