Job Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, the Senior Director of Human Resources, Strategic Talent Services will lead the Centers of Expertise for the full employee life cycle. In partnership with other HR leaders who oversee the HR Business Partner function as well as HR Operations, this role will collaborate and lead the team who develops offerings to drive the people strategy related to workforce planning, learning and organizational effectiveness, talent management, succession management and total rewards, in alignment with the institutional needs.


Job Duties:

1. Acts as a strategic partner to leaders to ensure functional alignment with the business go to market strategies and strategic initiatives. Partners with the HR Business Partner team. 

2. Works with stakeholders on labor strategy development and workforce planning, including position control/review; aligning with budget, resourcing processes, etc.
3. Analyzes employee data (turnover, employee satisfaction, exit interviews) to enhance and improve HR programs and initiatives.
4. Engages in high-profile, highly sensitive and/or complex matters. Provides insights to leaders regarding trends and issues.
5. Builds compelling presentations leveraging workforce analytics and insights to focus leaders on relevant business issues and assessing potential solutions.
6. Provides strategic leadership, oversight and guidance of various HR initiatives.
7. Translates near and long-term operating goals into HR processes, projects, and assignments and integrates and initiates the work with key stakeholders and functional partners to ensure appropriate solutions are delivered to support business strategies.

 

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field is required.


Experience:

Ten (10) years of human resources experience and five (5) years of management experience is required.


 

Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or Master's degree in a related field. SPHR, SHRM-SCP, and/or CCP certifications.
