 Job Summary

Under direct supervision, responsible for coordinating the completion of the EXITO!: Latino Cancer Research Leadership Training project life-cycle, including preparing and maintaining project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements.


Job Duties

  1. Create and review project proposal and evaluation plan to determine timelines, activities, and milestones to meet goals and objectives and ensure projects are administered according to protocol
  2. Identify and communicate work-plan activities, needed resources, and staffing for each phase of project to include data collection, data analyses, and data management.
  3. Ensure project is compliant with funding guidelines and regulations.
  4. Assist in preparing budgets, monitoring expenditures, and preparing financial reports to include preparing annual reports for funding agency.
  5. Ensures effective preparation and delivery of all project events, meetings and production of all necessary documentation.
  6. Supervise project staff by orienting, training, and providing ongoing performance feedback. 


  • Bachelor's degree in public health or related degree is required.


  • Three (3) years of directly related experience is required.

  • Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.

  • Solid organizational skills, including coordination, multi-tasking and time management.

  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Extensive knowledge of common Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS-Project, Outlook, etc.).

  • Strong focus on quality assurance with attention to detail and ability to apply protocols.

  • Ability to work independently to collect, research and organize data.
