The Office of Human Resources is seeking an Organization Development Consultant (OD) as part of a growing Learning and Organization Development team.  Reporting to the Manager of Learning & Organization Development, the OD Consultant functions as an internal consultant to plan, coordinate, and execute the implementation of organization development initiatives that include organizational change/design, organization effectiveness, employee engagement planning, succession planning, and workforce planning. This position encompasses a variety of job activities including creating, planning, implementing, administering, analyzing and managing the ongoing success of projects.

What you will do:
  • Develop strategic partnerships with institutional leadership, HR partners, and other internal clients to identify and intervene on change management initiatives that foster organization strategic initiatives.
  • Address and respond to OD issues by bringing key stakeholders together to assess root causes and performance gaps; implementing and/or supporting implementation of appropriate interventions.
  • Develop change management plans to support the implementation and sustainability of institution-wide programs and strategies.
  • Use instruments and surveys to analyze individual and team behavior and recommend strategies for needed changes.
  • Lead and manage OD projects and programs from initial contact through evaluation.
  • Influence and support changes in institutional behavior. Serve as an internal consultant to facilitate team building, resolve work group conflict, and enable changes in group norms, values and culture.
What you need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or a related field. 
  • Five (5) years experience in providing organizational development support to include departmental consulting, OD program development, talent development, and strategic interventions. 


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree preferred.
