Job Summary:

This position will report directly to the Associate Dean for Finance and Administration.  This position will be responsible for managing the School’s operations/logistics and developing methods to measure department performance to ensure compliance/development/improvement programs are in place where necessary.

 

Job Duties:

  1. Serves as the main point of contact for all building and equipment related activities, including space surveys/reports, space allocation, access requests, visitors, renovations, maintenance, and administrative office/lab/clinic setup and moves. 
  2. Coordinates building repairs and renovations between Facilities Management and building occupants, often times coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
  3. Acts as liaison between the School’s faculty, staff and students and the institutional service centers to assess technology, equipment, and/or facility needs and identifies associated costs, risks, priorities and timelines.
  4. Manages department inventory process and assists staff with installing/decommissioning equipment.
  5. Manages the day-to-day operations in compliance and procedures.  Prepares reports and audits current policies and procedures to monitor efficiency of operations.  Coordinates update of the School’s Policies and Procedures Handbook.  Coordinates annual IT risk assessment. 
  6. Ensures employee conformance to established practices and properly trains faculty and staff.  Provides necessary onboarding training to staff and supervisors to ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures and laws. 
  7. Maintains and updates emergency and contingency plans and staff training. 
  8. Ensures annual clinical/service contracts are reviewed/updated and routed to appropriate parties for approval and execution.
  9. Coordinates installation/termination of necessary utilities and communicates between faculty, vendors and building staff.
  10. Performs all other business operations duties as assigned.

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree is required.

 

Experience:

Five (5) years experience is required.

 

Preferred:

Master's degree is required.
