We’re growing at UT Health San Antonio and Human Resources needs a dynamic, highly-skilled Total Rewards Manager to join our team as a key leader. This job isn’t for everyone. Job Duties: 

1. Leads the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs and procedures, including the job evaluation process, market pricing, salary surveys and variable pay program design and implementation.
2. Responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, management and evaluation of the compensation and total rewards strategies, goals and objectives. Position manages all total rewards processes and provides support and guidance in the development and effective administration of the programs, policies and procedures.
3. Monitors competitive trends and best practices in compensation and analyzes workforce and institutional needs for compensation programs and structures.
4. Leads the design and implementation of frameworks and tools as well as the annual review of market competitiveness of pay structures to increase the effectiveness of compensation programs.
5. Builds strong relationships through a deep understanding of departmental needs, talent strategies and challenges and influences positive change at all levels of the organization.
6. Supports HR Partners and leadership teams by providing insight and solutions related to total rewards trends and issues.
7. Effectively manages and collaborates with vendors and external partners, including managing performance of contracts to ensure maximum value of services is delivered.
8. Communicate actively with Accounting, Finance, Operations, HR and other departments to review cross-departmental impacts and reconcile data sharing.
9. Manage data in accordance with the agency’s record retention policies and procedures and state and federal laws and regulations
10. Managerial responsibility includes development, evaluation, and making or recommending pay, promotion or other employment decisions for members of the team.
 

Education:

Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Finance, or Economics is required.


Experience:

Five (5) years of broad-based compensation program design, implementation and administration experience is required.


Preferred Qualifications: 

Total rewards program design, implementation and administration

Preferred Qualifications:
CCP certification.
