Job Summary:

Under minimal supervision, responsible for planning, assigning, and leading the installation, construction, maintenance, and service of building systems.

Job Duties:

  1. Plans, coordinates, and oversees trades workers performing assembly/disassembly of furniture, electrical, carpentry/cabinet-makers, plumbing, masonry, painting, housekeeping, or groundskeeper work.
  2. Assigns workers to specific maintenance jobs, explains the work to be done, and inspects completed work.
  3. Ensures all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority.
  4. Provides direction and guidance to workers; participates in the work as needed.
  5. Makes periodic checks of the facilities and reports findings to superiors.
  6. Consults with supervisory personnel concerning the planning of new facilities or remodeling projects.
  7. Provides data for job cost estimates, including time and material requirements.
  8. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education:

A high school diploma or GED is required.

Experience:

Six (6) years of experience in a multiple skilled craft maintenance environment is required.
