Job Summary:

Under limited supervision, responsible for planning, organizing, and developing training curricula, materials, and programs to meet specific training needs.

Job Duties:

  1. Plans and develops curriculum resources for teaching and training, including designing and developing learning environment resources in collaboration with educational development specialists and faculty.
  2. Implements educational technology in a blended learning environment and train faculty to use technology resources to support teaching.
  3. Lends support to institutional initiatives promoting educational technology and serves as the primary point of contact for online classroom support.
  4. Works with teaching faculty to develop specific visualization tools to be used in classroom and lab settings to enhance and facilitate the learning experience.
  5. Develops a library of lesson plans that can be accessed for later use and updated to accommodate future learning needs.
  6. Provides online and in-person support for creating and maintaining learning and training materials.
  7. Plans and coordinates skill assessments and tracks and analyze training programs by examining learner's satisfaction levels, proficiency testing, and job performance.


  • A Bachelors's degree is required.


  • Five (5) years of experience is required. Must have a strong skillset in-design and programming in eLearning software.
  • Proficiency with eLearning tools such as Articulate Storyline/360, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Proficiency in meeting 508 Level AA compliance standards for eLearning.
  • Prior experience in adult education or training, including familiarity with instructional design, classroom teaching, and workforce skills training.
  • Experience in health professions education or higher education and adult learning principles via classroom or virtual.
  • Proficiency in relevant software such as MS Office suite.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
