Job Summary:

Under general supervision, responsible for maintaining the integrity and quality control function of data input/output systems and the production of internal and external reports. Processes input and output of a computer systems while effectively interfacing with individual users and/or groups. Works directly with faculty physicians in a private non-patient facing setting.

Job Duties:

  1. Gathers, organizes, analyzes, and processes data from various sources to maintain Institutional database.
  2. Prepares queries, runs reports, and imports/exports data for various mailings and projects upon request.
  3. Provides troubleshooting, problem analysis, technical training, and support to end-users.
  4. Manages and maintains departmental website within the Institution based on curriculum.
  5. Prepares routine checks of information to ensure the accuracy of the institution's database and donor information.
  6. Responsible for file maintenance and record retention of both paper and electronic documents.
  7. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of concepts, practices and policies with the ability to use them in complex varied situations.
  • Ability to develop and interpret technical documentation to ensure system integrity. Exhibits accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work for quality of information.
  • Demonstrates ability to resolve and anticipate complex problems and exhibit critical thinking to provide a resolution.
  • A solid business professional acumen and interpersonal skills to effectively work with both internal and external stakeholders.


Associate's degree in computer science or equivalent is required.


Two (2) years data processing related experience is required.


  • Previous experience working with Qgenda software scheduling program.
  • Previous experience working in a hospital or higher education setting.
