Job Summary:

Under direct supervision, assists human resources staff with in the administration of one or more compensation related programs or activities to include evaluations and analysis, and survey participation. Provides guidance to employees and managers on human resources policies and procedures. Identifies and implements process improvement initiatives. Ensures compliance with all federal, state and UT System laws and regulations.

Job Duties:

1. Coordinates the process for monthly off-cycle compensation requests including logging all monthly requests, generating reports and setting up folders on the shared drive. 

2. Analyzes basic compensation requests including performing job evaluations, reviewing salary history, reviewing internal equity and determining salary recommendations. 

3. Processes approved compensation requests in HCM in addition to sending standardized communications to requestors. 

4. Creates and maintains job codes and job titles; Develops job descriptions for assigned positions. 

5. Identifies and implements process improvement opportunities for compensation programs. 

6. Performs other duties as assigned.


Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related degree


Minimum of one (1) year of related experience.
