Job Summary:

Responsible for achieving in-depth knowledge of the Epic Cadence application software and serving as a bridge between end-users and the appropriate system build and configuration. Responsible for developing, documenting, and adhering to the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with Epic applications. Understands and assists with creating and building workflows.

Job Duties:
  1. Analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed requests for application build in regards to the Cadence application particularly in the areas of scheduling templates and referrals. Works with requestor to ensure accurate understanding of clinic needs: creates, edits and maintains all elements associated with specific tasks to include maintenance of all required master files. Ability to identify system build issues and promptly resolve.
  2. Ability to utilize and fully understand the application to support/train users on the system in accordance with established processes or policy guidelines. Training may be classroom, one-on-one or development of e-learning materials, scheduled or on–demand. Creates or edits training material as required. May assist the security team on security roles.
  3. Performs all application maintenance, follows internal processes for documentation, testing, validation, implementation and monitoring. Follows all change management processes. Assists other applications teams on integration, testing and any proposed system changes that may affect other applications.
  4. Performs basic project management, may require assistance in problem solving, identifying issues and working with end users on requests or issues. Prepare charts, graphs or workflows to assist in problem analysis, troubleshooting, development of new processes or revision of existing workflows. Makes recommendations for improved workflows or system changes.
Education:
Bachelor's degree is required, however, (5) Five years of equivalent healthcare experience may be substituted for degree.

Experience:
Up to one (1) year related experience is required.

Cadence Certified
