Job Summary:

Under direct supervision, responsible for providing administrative support for the department's academic mission while ensuring compliance with standards set by internal and external regulating bodies. Facilitates and coordinates various academic activities, maintains records, databases, provides curriculum information, manages the application process and maintains documentation for continued accreditation. May work in coordination with the Program Director and serve as a primary resource for students.

Job Duties:

  1. Facilitates and coordinates academic programs, conferences and schedules.
  2. Manages application process and assists in screening of applicants for the academic program.
  3. Manages marketing of academic program and marketing materials for prospective students.
  4. Schedules interviews with faculty and staff and arranges travel for applicants.
  5. Maintains records and databases for all program related materials.
  6. Oversees and coordinates student registration, class schedules, room reservations, teaching materials, grade reporting, and scheduling exams.
  7. Performs all other duties as assigned.


  1. Demonstrated business acumen in managing budgets, contracting and funding sources.
  2. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  3. Ability to serve as a resource to students, prospective students, faculty and staff.
  4. Ability to work in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment and capable of self-direction with long periods of indirect supervision.

Minimum Education:

  • Associate's degree is required.

Minimum Experience:

  • Five (5) years of related experience is required. May be substituted by a combination of education and experience of one (1) year of related experience plus a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
